Movado Watches is one of the most renowned companies which manufacture watch and their name denotes something always in motion in Esperanto language. The company was established in the late nineteenth century and later on it became one of the leading brands in the world of watches. In its early years it used to be only a very small workshop in La Chaux De Faunds which is in Switzerland, from where this company saw the light of the day. This company was basically gifted by Mr. Achille Ditisheim along with the team of six employees who actually initiated one of the grand moves to establish Movado Watches as one of the leading brand in the watch markets of the world.
In the primitive stages the people who were indulged in manufacturing of Movado watches used to carry out fabricating, packing and polishing by their hands. By putting brave act in the manufacturing, the company got huge and predictable amounts of dividends. By the end of year 1899, the company was rewarded with more than six certificates which were the first class Certificates of Official Ratings in their own category. And in the subsequent years they even gave better results and after four or five years they were honored with the Gold Medal at the demonstration at universal level in the city of Paris. Later on company manufactured watches which had bulova diamond and it used to enhance their beauty.
By the beginning of the year 1905 the Movado Watches become a very big brand and company started making good money from its name only. To meet the demand of customer and to increase the utility it actually increased the efforts in making watches much better. Few years later they saw themselves above their all rivals, be it in the trade fair of Paris in the year 1910, Brussels, Rome or Rio de Janeiro. They convincingly brought number of glories for themselves by launching the collection of the eight Ligne wristwatches. The launch of the Polyplan watches in the first quarter of the year 1912 really stunned and brought havoc in the entire community of watch makers.
